We are excited to announce another feature that we recently added that will allow your customers to add on additional menu items when placing orders.
We have now added a column called: Item(s) You May Want To Add
This column will allow you to promote another menu item when a customer is placing an order for a specific menu item.
So for example: You might have a customer who is ordering the Super Deluxe Party pack for 100 people. If the customer was to call the catering hotline to place the order, one of your staff members would ask the customer if they would like to add some dessert or gallon drinks to their order. But if the customer was ordering online, they would not be prompted to add any extras to their order.
We now have a way for the online ordering to offer additional items when placing an order.
The other amazing part about this feature is that it allows you select the quantity that you want for the additional item AND the quantity does not have to match the quantity of the item that was originally ordered.
So for example: The Super Deluxe Party Pack the customer is ordering is for 100 people. But they only need to order 13 Key Lime Pies because 1 pie feeds 8 people. This feature will allow you place the order for the quantity needed for the additional item.
Note: This new feature will only show on the online ordering portion of CaterZen for your customers. It will not show on the software side that your employees use.
