A few days ago I received an email from a longtime member, Ivan. Ivan lives in a small town and was in my first high-end coaching group, investing $500 a month for membership.

Yesterday I was conducting a catering consultation for a prospective client. I make about four of these sessions available each week for restaurant owners serious about growing their catering business. At no cost, I evaluate their catering menu, websites and give a handful of low cost, easily implementable ideas to grow catering sales.

Having been born and raised in Morocco, my father didn’t grow up with the same sports as my friends’ parents. There was no father son learning, playing or watching football, basketball or baseball. Though I wasn’t the last one picked on the playground, I was definitely in the bottom three.

Even in tough economic times, we all love a little luxury, or treat if you will. It could be as simple as a piece of Godiva chocolate or a massage.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. It’s not about religion or gift giving. It’s dedicated to family, food and for being thankful for everything in our lives.

Unless your primary demographic is the sixty plus crowd, using the Yellow Pages to promote your catering is a major waste of time. I’m not even sure if my kids know what the Yellow Pages are.

Over the last nine months I’ve dropped 45 pounds. It is so nice to fit into my skinny jeans. LOL.

I set an alarm just about every night to make sure I’m out of bed in time for whatever the day holds. I find it interesting that most of the time I awake just before the iPhone alarm goes off. I’m guessing my subconscious mind is watching my clock as I get some sleep.

I just picked up a book about copywriting for my Kindle. Though I have enough books about copywriting to sink a canoe, study never ends.
